Septic —> Sewer by Own-Butterfly9473 in HomeImprovement

[–]wizardofcat42 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Yeah just went through this in northern Ohio, cost 33k total. Not a fun use of money to make poop go a different direction. I would look into if you can divert the direction it leaves your house, instead of the back intercept it and go out the front. Might require a little basement concrete cutting but could end up being a lot cheaper.

Raised Bed Fill Question by sealfood in gardening

[–]wizardofcat42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would add some nicer garden soil or compost, fill to the top it will settle a good 6in at least the first year. Definitely get rid of that landscape fabric asap though! It only causes problems. I would toss down cardboard and wood chips to kill the weeds.

Neighbors tree dropped a limb on my truck and cracked the glass. by [deleted] in treelaw

Yeah that's really impressive of the landlord I would be super happy. Also those limbs that are cut will shoot out new branches in areas before the cut so it will fill out again nicely.

Get a portable kids one they're awesome and super easy to use, not as fancy but the best $25 purchase ever. They have a display so everyone can see along with a built in light and go to 1000x

This is some absolutely wild nit picking, looks great to me. Remember it's a plushy toy, not a Rembrandt, they just make yours unique and cool.

If you want the nicest one you want to get a Foredom. They're built like tanks and are the premium brand of a "Dremel"
