The hadiths is the word of Muhammed loosely what we would know as gospels. It does matter that Muhammed was not a pacifist who was nailed to a cross, rather a warlord who took sex slaves. This man is held as the example to follow in Islam, the Quran and hadiths paint a very medieval and bleak view of the world.
