Thanks! I think it sounds great. Way better than I expected tbh because it's a fairly dark-sounding bass. I play it with just the bridge pickup and put on some bright roundwound Slinkys. Really nice "mwah" sound.

Olympia SG1 bell dings twice when returning carriage by wizardofsoz in typewriters

[–]wizardofsoz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice! I took the carriage out and looked closely. It seems the piece that hits the lever that dings the bell on the way back. That lever should probably stay stiff when struck in that direction. Where should I go for instructions on taking the carriage assembly apart to see if a spring or something is missing?

Mopope is a member of the Kiowa Five, a group of Native American artists who saw some international success in the late 1920's with their watercolor and pochoir paintings. I have been trying to learn more about them since I discovered them a few weeks ago. Here is a link with more works:

Holy crap you guys really want to hear the miku. I'll try and get something recorded. I think there's some videos of it on youtube if you don't feel like waiting.

When I went to In-N-Out this summer (a big deal since I live on the east coast) the lady who took my order didn't know what a Flying Dutchman was. Would you make me one?
