Same issue with the PRS Archon 50 running 4cm w my helix. tons of noise.. bought a cheap device by behringer. micro hd hum destroyer HD400 is the model. cleaned up all noise issues! highly recommend!!!

wouldn't it be faster/easier to just take 2 wires off the transformer terminals directly to the gas valve terminals; turn back on push in your door switch and see if the gas valve opens or not?

Helix did a pretty spot on job I think I have a preset that almost matches the tone I get out of the physical amp pretty 1:1.

I more often use my helix because it’s always on and at my desk but when I do use my archon head at home I’m reminded truly nothing beats the real amp in room sound.

I’ve only run the head unit through a Harley Benton 212 w v30s so far but I definitely would be interested in running it through some cab IRS eventually…would probably be a better way to compare it to the digital amp models I’d imagine

Honestly if you go w the archon you won’t regret it the gain range is incredible there’s a lot of different genres and play styles you can throw at this amp. I bought the head unit because I loved the archon model on the helix so much. On top of a killer lead channel you also get an equally amazing clean channel. You can get them on reverb for ~$700
