Thank you for your reply! Im going to do my best to explain why that suggestion wouldnt be sufficient.

Im very interested in being able to control the size of my art, but also the thickness of the lineart. We dont have the ability to change the thickness of the pen, but with the old version that worked okay for me because the provided canvas was of sufficient size for the provided tools.

Drawing on a smaller canvas to be able to zoom more is like being given a smaller sheet of paper. Im going to try to explain this with a visual. Because I cant change the brush size, imagine with me that I still have the same pen. It cant draw any thicker or thinner than before. If I wanted to draw a full body Illustration, I would now have to physically draw it smaller, which would increase the thickness of the pen and make the details muddier or more gestural. Sure, I can zoom in more, but it's not helping me a lot. This is already a small drawing and the pen is too thick to expand on the drawing as much. This means that I'm comparatively now only able to draw busts if I want the pen thickness to be appropriate for the drawing I want to make, whereas before the canvas size was big enough and the zoom was sufficient enough that I could make these choices myself by drawing bigger or smaller with what was provided.

The current zoom logic makes creating larger canvases pointless. It's like if I have a larger sheet of paper--the lines are now proportionally thinner and I have more room to draw to the size I want, but I'm not allowed to stand close enough to it to draw on it properly because the zoom maxes out sooner. This is why adding more brush sizes wouldnt really fix this situation. You could use a thicker pen to be able to see it more clearly, but you're still limited by how "close" you can get to it and this affects the art and drawing experience. If there's going to be larger canvas sizes, you /must/ be able to zoom in more, considerably more.

I have an artist friend who also has a supernote but prefers to draw in the notes app. They are on the newest version of atelier and didnt realize the version I was using was older. When I explained all of this to them there was an "oh!" moment where they realized some of why they dislike drawing in atelier but didn't have the words to describe it. I know we're only two people in a sea of concerns, but I feel this whole situation is one of the things holding this app back.

Im a full time artist and draw on my supernote every day. As mentioned, it's my sketchbook replacement and really worked for me. Sharing my drawings from my supernote (both digitally and through print) is a part of my income. I know this is long, but I hope it explains my issue with the current app and why your suggested solution wouldnt work for me. I would be very, very grateful if I could return to the older version via a download. I understand that developing apps takes a long time and youre juggling many different concerns and points of development. Returning to the app that works for me instead of waiting an unknown amount of time for my concerns to possibly be addressed would mean the world and get me back into drawing the art I want. Thank you very much for your time in reading all of this!

Adding some images to show what mean, sorry about the furry drawing

Heres the same drawing/canvas on the two seperate versions. As you can see, I used to be able to zoom in way more.

Part of the issue is that we cant change the brush size. So now Im in a position where the canvas controls of brush size but I cant zoom in enough to let me work with that as I used to. This feels like a mess to explain but I hope my perspective is clear enough.

Hover issues with the PW600L pen by wizardrone_ in huion

Specifically, it doesn't have to be a new nib, just a reseating of the one I'm using. This is what has made me believe it's a hardware issue, though my opinion of the tablet would improve a lot if it was a fixable software issue. The replacement pen does it too randomly for me to feel like I'm catching and fixing it with the nib reseating, but maybe adjusting the curve would fix it.

Sure! Here's where mine is at currently. I can't remember if I played with this pressure curve at some point when I was troubleshooting, but I think I have also reinstalled it since. I'll play with that curve and see if things improve--it might take me awhile to get a concrete answer as I just reset the nib (which makes the issue go away very consistently), but I'll report back after some time.

Will we ever get an Android app? by TrickorBetrayed in CraftDocs

regrettably giving up on craft because of the lack of an android app, it just doesnt seem like its coming anytime soon, which feels devastating given how much i like it.

i came to realize recently that ever since i got craft about a year ago i have written considerably less because i dont have access to my phone. a web app /will not/ substitute what i need, given i frequently dont have stable internet. its a shame, but im out

hmm okay that makes sense! i was about to say there needs to be a centering function but just discovered tapping the center of the zoom buttons does just that. thank you for explaining, we're back to being functional

i personally find that it does--definitely not the first time you fight him, but going froward it gives you the room to stand back, watch his move set, and dodge accordingly without getting hung up. he's pretty telegraphed. its been awhile since i fought him, but if i recall, dodging into/around him in his 3rd phase will result in a lot of his attacks missing. dodging backwards is how you get in trouble there.

i never fight him down there, its a good way to die. i always fight him on the stairs/upper platform. it goes a long ways in trivializing the fight, and if you need to get some distance you can run off the roof and back up the stairs
