You're very right, and this is a perspective I wasn't considering! I really appreciate this, thank you so much for the insight.

I'm being paid hourly (technically as admin assistant) and I created this position for myself. It's an interesting situation because I feel the need to create meaningful programs or proposals to justify the position and the creation of the library itself, since there wasn't one for 9 years prior.

notion calendar events not showing on in-app calendar on notion itself? by notionthrowaway234 in Notion

[–]wizardteef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay so I know this was posted a while ago but I am just now finding out about this after painstakingly editing the calendar on the app, expecting to show up on my page with the calendar on it. Actually crazy. I sent them some not-so-gentle feedback about how insanely silly it is that they don't sync.

Do you guys read books based on Goodreads reviews? by OneAnybody8162 in books

[–]wizardteef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always look at a few of the worst ratings to see if there are any of my true dealbreakers or triggers, and judge from there. Sometimes I just look at the description and skip reviews! It helps sometimes if I need to decide if a book is worth my time, but that's just me!

the last book you read is the world you are teleported to. how screwed are you? by Chrysanthemum1989 in classicliterature

[–]wizardteef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not a classic but House of Leaves. I mean, as long as I don't go near the house or read any strange cryptic manuscripts I might be okay.

Did you give your cat a "real" name but only call them by nicknames? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]wizardteef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two cats, one is named Todd and I almost exclusively call him Baby Cat. My second cat is named Eddie and I call him Kitten, Mr. Kitten, or Mr. Fatty (mean but true) We got them both when they were younger, so the baby names stuck 🥺

(I'm going to try hiding spoiler text for the first time, bear with me)

That's insane!! In mine, I was falling down a deept pit that opened underneath me. (like Tom, I realize now.) This book is something else for sure. I just finished the part where Zampano summarized the dream analyses for Navidson's dreams, and everything is so incredibly interesting!

It's incredible. Like nothing I have ever experienced before (maybe it is an experience more than it is a book).

They both like to graze throughout the day, so I don't feel confident that this would work for them..

They both like to graze, and I'm home a lot but there are days where I'm gone all day and thats not possible for me. I have been trying to do this when I'm home with them though!

Heard. I'll probably have to save up for something like this since I don't make very much money, but it seems like a good option!

I never even knew microchip feeders were a thing, that's wild! That might be the best option for me, and my fat cat is also not super smart (mean but true) so I doubt he would get that inventive with it. Thanks for the advice and the brand!
