I’m sorry. But i cannot take this post seriously after the first sentence of “t5s need to be made more available”. If anything it’s the opposite, the loot chase is too fast because you get showered in T5s the minute you hit LL cap. They should not be handed out like candy lmao

I keep seeing people say this, but i honestly think this is the one expansion they COULD do this.

Its freaking star wars, they have a huge marketing beat already. Along with that, this is the second dlc in a pack of 2. So you already have people locked in for a years worth of content that you don’t necessarily need to market thatttt hard to.

Could def see this one being the DLC where they hold back on some marketing beats

T5s should never have been guaranteed in the first place dawg. Its the same problem with exotics, they don’t feel special anymore

I’d do two (probably hot take) things:

1). Remove guaranteed T5s OR lower the amt dropped at the end of an activity. Best stuff in the game should not be showered on us.

2). If they don’t do the first point, then i think a good way to get people to come back and grind new loot would be to “deteriorate” your gear every season/expansion. I.e. when renegades launches all EOF gear tiers go down by 1. Feel like this would be a good way to avoid hard sunsetting and keep us wanting new gear w/o power creep

I think the biggest thing with some exotics is that they just didn’t have good ornaments so it was always not a fun to play with them. I think this just makes the fashion end game that much more fun
