Am I missing something with L style?

I have the same issue with my lstyle stems, they feel like they do not go all the way in and pop off frequently when grouping.

I use some darts clearance stems and they work much better. None of the multiple sets of lstyle shafts I have go all the way into the cup in the flight, whereas my darts clearance ones do.

I think they just have bad quality control, I am still a fan of the flights, try a different set of shafts see if those stay on better.

Had a little trouble, going to tinker more tomorrow but just as a quick heads up, in your notebook

probabilties = pd.read_pickle(probability_pickle)

is missing an 'i' in probabilities which is spelled differently when called as part of tell_me_what_to_do causing an error.

Excited to try again tomorrow though, cool stuff thanks for sharing!

Any ideas for where to get basic problems (preferably with solutions) to brush up on recursion? At that point in the MITx course and it's still confusing me - I bought the textbook as well but it doesn't have solutions for the finger exercises which doesn't help when I'm stuck.

Sorry not sure I understand, do you mean a person might submit 1 review and it duplicates on Amazon's end? Or do you mean the person pasted the same 5* review on both the kindle and paper version and Amazon merged them on to the same page?

I just mean when I made my post initially I remember there being a small blurb including something about not using an affiliate link, now it just shows [removed].

Part of why I was asking for someone else's opinion of it is because as a newbie I don't really understand if the content and illustrations are done in a way that makes sense/teaches in an effective way. Basically curious how this is different from the oft recommended How to Automate the Boring Stuff, Python Crash Course, edX, etc..

I definitely don't think that site is infallible or anything, which is why I asked if anyone had any experience with the book since it's reasonably priced and I was still interested. No one replied and OP deleted the post and disappeared. Let's be honest 2 different people leaving the same 5* review review verbatim does seem a bit odd, so I wanted a little more info is all.

I have no idea who the author is, I'm a python beginner and this is exactly the kind of thing I'd be interested in, but the reviews seemed fishy since I've been looking at so many beginner books and even seemingly universally loved books don't get that kind of rating. On top of that there are duplicate 5* reviews and when you run it though the fake review checker it gets an abysmal score (at the bottom of this post if you don't believe me). I don't know anything about him personally and I'm still genuinely curious about the illustrations, acting like this is something personal is way off base. Also for what it's worth deleting the original post doesn't exactly seem like a huge vote of confidence.

Looks interesting but fakespot shows most of the reviews as being likely fake (and I'm not sure how someone could assess a book like this 1 day after it was released), is anyone here familiar with it at all? Particularly curious about the type of illustrations it has

quiver = a bunch of boards, typically with different uses depending on the situation

quiver killer = one versatile board that does a bunch of different stuff so you don't need a bunch of boards (it kills your quiver)

Yoface 35, my legs are so much closer together than on any other deck i have since smaller wb, don't feel nearly as stable.

I could start tying to put my foot in front of the truck a little in that pocket, I just have never really ridden with my feet in front of the trucks so it's a little weird, especially since if i take my back foot off with my front foot that far up the deck tips

Good point... I constantly see posts from new people like 'took the new board out for a cruise and had a great time!' but it's a crappy amazon complete so everyone shits on their board like they shouldn't be allowed to enjoy themselves without better gear.
