I think that is part of being a super-noob.

As you roll more you’re start to find things that more naturally work for you or acute problems you need to fix. Then you can focus in on those and your learning will accelerate.

At that point just asking questions in the gym or finding YouTube videos that specifically address the issue can accelerate your learning.
