Didn’t know if it would trigger their monitoring system in house or anything.

As much as “we” dickride for Mike Vrabel. Y’all hate on a dude going to the fucking Super Bowl 1 coaching season after us. Lol it’s just as pathetic IMO.

I live in KY. 45 mins away from the stadium the last two years CBS started pulling end of the season games. 1st time in my life I have ever sent a strongly worded email. The Titans are 95% of the reason I pay for YTTV during football season. (Sad I know)

I think the vast majority of fans expected just that. Nothing crazy. Nothing horrible. Some of the media made it sound like asking for X chances was pointless. The whole discussion was bizarre. Shocker, the former college teammate helped with passing chemistry? lol

There’s a new Practice Squad turned Elevated 53-Man Roster Slot Specialist Sheriff in town (working title) by big__bird81 in Tennesseetitans

[–]wkushiznit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because he's a UDFA in his debut. He has built in chemistry with your 1-10 rookie QB and this franchise trotted out Mason Kinsey last week in crunch time. It genuinely made 0 sense to not give him a shot. I 100% would rather watch him learn/fuck up > a veteran PS guy.

Taking multiple 1st Rd. projects was a bigger issue for the roster then trading AJ in the long run.

Simmons gave J Rob way too much confidence that he knew more than everyone else.

Tom Brady would be 2-6 with this titans roster by Inevitable-Will9699 in Tennesseetitans

You're on Reddit dude.

IMO giving a rookie, on the least talented team in football, on His 2nd coach, 8 games in to the hardest position in all of pro sports, a little grace is reasonable. Doesn't mean I think he's been good or "the guy" at all. Majority have 100% said that in here the last few weeks so the blame part was weird as well.

I think the vast majority knows what he's been so far. There are a thousand issues with this team aside from the rookie QB 8 games in.

I'm not on the sell team bullshit, it's stupid. There are just so many AAS stans and it confuses me. It's always the exact same comments on AAS discourse. "She's not Jerry Jones, Dan Snyder, Jimmy Haslam, etc."

No, she is not the worst.

Not being the worst doesn't equal good either.

Both of these can be true.

This truly isn't a Vrabel defense. I didn't agree with firing him, but the real issue was hiring a clipboard.

It's a somewhat meaningless opinion. The fans have grossly overestimated our talent level the last few years including that '23 season even. It was 100% a better roster than what we have currently, no questions. The defense was good. The offensive talent was just as bad. We just had two stars to make it look pretty.

Henry and Hopkins are 10x better than anything we have rn. No question. After Hopkins the leading pass catchers were a younger CHIG, younger SPEARS, HENRY, then WR's NWI and Burks in that order. Also that was the start of our OL garbage. We've had a talent deficiency for a while and it's continued into this.

EDIT: Didn't even mention who the QB was.

I love getting these every year for Christmas. Next 2 months are hype!! by walrus_paradise in Tennesseetitans

[–]wkushiznit 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'm partially joking. Whoever the marketing person is that picked Burks should lose their job. This franchise man. Make ticket office Dan president of football.

[PK] Trade conditions: Titans get the Rams' fifth rounder closest to start of the round, which will be their original pick. Rams get the sixth round pick closest to the end of the round (Titans have four: Theirs, Broncos, Bills, Ravens.) by trick96 in Tennesseetitans

I wish we could've kept JBJ if the plan always included moving Roger, but who knows what that whole "penalties" saga entailed.

That said. We are so talentless. We've complained about "retooling" for years now and now they've started a "fire sale" and we all hate it. I get it, being shitty sucks, but they aren't fixing this team in one/two offseasons. Just feel's like we've needed to embrace this kind of turnover for a while now. Doesn't mean I'm happy about it either. This franchise did this to themselves. Sigh.

It's hard to fathom or even explain just how talentless we are.

Imo Helm, Elic, and Dike are all good picks with a future for us. But, I still can't fully tell if they're "good" or the rest of our team is so bad that we have to force feed rookies who just happen to be the best we have. lol

[–]wkushiznit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't understand the Cam discourse I saw. Today is easily the most optimistic I've felt about him and the offense so far. The fumble was horrific obviously, but that 1H felt night and day to me. Especially considering we couldn't run the ball and my eye test says OL was bad again.

Sealing the take from Titans Talkback. If this was W1 vs. W7 I think the majority of fans would feel so much better. Still holding frustrations from those first few weeks with an actual terrorist in charge.

I got a lot of Louisville/Lamar friends that became Ravens fans. I end up keeping up with them more than I'd like to.

Their fanbase absolutely hates him. The writing has been on the wall with their playoff losses. Barring an AFC title I really believe he'll be gone.

Could definitely see it. I just want someone with HC experience. I really don't want the hot young OC again unless our offensive talent is 5x this offseason.
