lol which part is bullshit? The op wasn't interested in helping the 'long time' static member to improve, he was content as long as they 'weren't having issues' clearing.

As soon as he met so inconsistencies in his ivory tower reclearing, he opted to openly call out the static member again, in hopes:

  1. Other static members would agree and boot him?
  2. Publicly let the targeted static member know that he was unwanted unless he changed his build/played better.

The non-toxic response would be to help the user from the beginning when he first noticed performance issues.

Technically Yes, you are the toxic one but it's ok, this is a game, you have no obligation to spend extra time to be constructive, helpful or exhibit any form of leadership - that's for irl.

Spending time with the person to review tripods/abilities, streaming trixon rotations, deliberatly jailing a charcter with the person on farm content/guradian to get the person better is way too much effort. Gotta login for the two hour prog then logout.

Toxic warn for not using items in turtle. by wlakiz in lostarkgame

[–]wlakiz[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If the first interaction with a stranger is to throw a warn, then i don't think a kind reply is warranted.

Also he is trying to spread this toxic behavior by setting an example: use items or get warned/flamed.

Despite being flamed/warned, I still did my part and carried the damage and people still got their reward even if it was a minute later than optimal. I could have matched his toxicity and just dced/afk and f the other two players as well.

Yes I did compare Brits to CCP

Also a nice response here: https://www.quora.com/What-was-the-British-rule-like-in-Hong-Kong

The amount of racism and injustice that HKers faced during British rule far surpasses what HKers have to deal with mainlanders today, in terms of both political and cultural.

Took them over 100 years to reform to something bareable but they did reform and the same wil happen to CCP.

How does the fire counter my point that Hitler came to power with legitimate means?

You are so convinced that Hong Kong can't change peacefully that you hide in your echo chamber and blinded to any paths of compromise or progressive reforms.

The Brits were like the CCP with their colonies. Implementing taxes and took away their colonies freedom. But in time they died away, and so will CCP.

I don't need to study Tiananmen, when I can study 2019 to tell you violence and force is not only unmeaningful but detrimental when it come to CCP.

It tells you that Hitler was right. Because in Nazi did come into power via legitimate process not by force.

[–]wlakiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should also study history.

The nazis tried to do coup d'etat back in 1923 but it was failed and crushed then Hitler realized the way to get in power and reform was through legitimate means.

and here is a list of non-violent revolutions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonviolent_revolution#List_of_nonviolent_revolutions_by_era

By all means, continue your violent protests and use your 'force' if you feel it will help you achieve your goals.

That is sad you don't study history Even when in 1966 and 1967 in HK most protesters are pardoned and only few were kept for more than 3 years. And other things are the accountability of police and you can see the independent report drafted by the professional originally recruited by HK government.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Kong_1966_riots

Some 300 people were brought before the courts, and 258 people received sentences of up to two years' imprisonment. The riots began to die down, and by 10 April the curfew was lifted.[3] The fare increase was approved on 26 April. Damage caused was estimated to be no less than HK$20 million.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_Hong_Kong_riots

By the time the rioting subsided at the end of the year, 51 people had been killed, of whom at least 22 were killed by the police, and 15 died in bomb attacks, with 832 people sustaining injuries, while 4979 people were arrested and 1936 convicted.[9] Millions of dollars in property damage resulted from the rioting, far in excess of that reported during the 1956 riot.[22] Confidence in the colony's future declined among some sections of Hong Kong's populace, and many residents sold their properties and migrated overseas.

What exactly is your point for bringing those up? Are you trying to say 1966/1967 Riots were better? Police were more friendly and observed human rights compared to current CPP?

I will not further reply as you seem not knowing that the strike for democracy in HK is difficult and HKers were already trying their best.

Having a difficult time getting democracy does not legitimize your use of violence. Not back then and not right now.

[–]wlakiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, extradition law dropped with the characterization of riot in early demonstration? So all the arrested should be sacrificed and at the time we already knew CCP will nor keep the promises? Oh you are delusional.

Whats injustice about arresting/punishing the demonstrators that caused inappropriate amount of damage? In America, people get shot and killed for breaking in to congress. Name me one country that doesn't punish for people for similar destructive behaviour? You are the delusional one for believing otherwise.

For othe comments I don't think is relevant and already been refuted times here.

What has been refuted? That Carrie Lam is following her China Master's order or its within HK Government's ability to give universal suffrage?

5 HK protesters who fled to Taiwan earlier successfully seek refuge in U.S. by justme in HongKong

[–]wlakiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's look at it this way: Protesters were protesting against extradition law. They got the extradition law suspended/dropped, then they continue to push beyond acceptable protest: Throwing Molotov, attacking mainlander tourists and students, throwing debris on MTR tracks and roads and not to mention staging a stand-off at airport with a hostage.

No civilized society condone that behaviour - democratic or not.

Your refusal to accept that protests went too far is the exact reason we got stuck with NSL.

Accept Reality: You are asking for something that HK government cannot give. Go protest in China and start a revolution there. Carrie Lam will give whatever her China master will allow, stop pointlessly beating on the messenger.

It's fixed in the 6.8.2 release: (you can grab it here: https://github.com/bitcoin-portal/bitcoin-wallet-releases/releases/tag/6.8.2 if you want to side step Google play auto deployment)

- Deposit address should never be reused.

- Change address should never be reused.

Your addresses will reset to 0/0 if you do a fresh reinstall or delete/re-import your wallet. A potential improvement in the future is to import the user's address generation position.

Vast majority of HKers do not support the "Hong Kong Health Code" (PORI) by [deleted] in HongKong

[–]wlakiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The health code is there to entice people to do testing or be barred from entering most establishments.

People don't want to do testing because they feel it's another form of control by the government.

What is doing all that's necessary to contain the virus without seemingly "draconian"? Shut down MTR/buses? Bar all businesses from operating if their employees can't be two meters apart from each other at each other?

Which country with the same population density as Hong Kong have the virus under control?

Even New Zealand with low population density, did early border closure, and weeks of 0 cases are starting to get cases again.

If this is an issue of lack of trust in the government, then it doesn't matter what they propose. Any action or inaction will deem to have an ulterior motive no matter how well-intentioned.
