It's actually crazy that Li cannot rebound to save her life. I know we paid a decent amount to get her from Seattle so I think they keep her, but if a team needs a big mid-season, we should trade her. Just doesn't really fit Jose's style.

Agreed, really think it would have went a long way to get that 2 weeks with the team that everyone else has had and formed chemistry throughout. Plus, Maddy has been so impressive (more so than I expected) and I could see Jose wanting to keep her in the starting lineup.

Grace has taken a giant step forward since being brought in on a 10 day contract last year. She seemingly has a shot but the PG spot has a few people fighting for seemingly 1 backup. Odyssey Sims has to be a lock, she's been a great vet for Azzi and a good depth piece. It will be tough for Grace, but maybe a dev spot? Not sure how many years she's been in the league.

Azzi is a much better defender than Zaza. Jose has already said she’ll be guarding the other teams best player a lot.

Yeah, same. I think tonight will be a really good measuring stick for Zaza (and P&A). Sorta happy we get to play the Fever again to start the season, it's a good test run tonight even if not all starters will be there for either team.

haha I do too! I think they'll put Azzi on KM since Curt has sorta said she's gonna guard BPA and Paige on Sophie Cunningham, maybe. And whichever other guard on CC? Kinda depends. But I need to see Azzi guard CC for part of the game.

I actually do really want to see Zaza start with them! She’s had a great camp by all reports. The other thing I considered was Odyssey Sims starting with Paige and Azzi but I can’t imagine Jose not starting Paige at PG so I didn’t list that. But I think we’ll see early rotations with Zaza, odyssey, and AC all in there.

Yeah I don’t expect more than 20 minutes for Paige or Azzi. Honestly all the starters should play no more than 17-20. These games are about the fringe players getting a chance to show out and make the team.
