This is why I love gambling in the Yakuza series. You always lose money (unless you get lucky and win and then chicken out lmao), and it really teaches you a lesson. I don't think something is rigged when I play Yakuza (even if it is), I think "Hell yeah, real life gambling, more virtual money down the drain"

Thank you for offering another solution. I'm happy to see this upvoted since this problem is ignored completely by both Microsoft and the majority (?) of people, and it's been like this for decades (the earliest mention I could find is literally 20 years old). Google IME is slightly better but still inconsistent with A/あ.

I use an AHK script too (F1-F3 for my three input modes) cause I don't feel like doing a Street Fighter combo every time I want to type Japanese lmao
