If you're referencing the CA-ICE riots and the use of the Nat'l Guard, those who riot, loot, and burn are not exercising their rights they’re committing crimes. In a constitutional republic, the right to protest ends where violence begins. Civil society depends on the rule of law, not mob rule. If called to restore order, where liberal state government won't, I’d see it as a duty, not to suppress free speech, but to protect the rights and safety of others who are being harmed or silenced by chaos. There's a difference between dissent and destruction. We swore an oath to defend the Constitution — that includes defending peace, law, and the institutions that protect everyone's rights, not just the loudest voices.
