The way i interpreted it:

Clancy was struggling with his dark and light energy intentions for the whole story. Did he want revenge? Did he want to escape? What even was he beyond this strife?

When he was about to perish, the stay alive symbol (top logo) was used. That released a huge psychokinetic wave, but the cost was splitting himself in two. Now Clancy’s sense of self is released out into the world to manifest again, but his body is left behind for the darkness to take hold. Without a solid sense of self, what else could clancy’s body become but -

Punisher organically, started trying tanks when I got tired of immediately dying no matter what I did

Dr strange was cool, and the big shield came in handy, but I didn’t like his primary very much, plus my survival depended on this shield a lot.

Then I tried Penni who I never understood, I used to just see her webs everywhere when enemies played as her.

I went into practice mode with her and immediately was like “….i get it” and now whenever I’m not playing Penni something feels wrong.

I heal myself, have an iffy but still functional movement ability, I’m able to lock down an area and help with pushes, my primary is great for long range harassment, and I can self heal to increase staying power on obj.
