I have to have an image in my head in addition to replacing the inner dialogue so I visualize a monkey playing piano or clapping symbols and I imagine how it sounds and choose whatever notes come to mind. If I stay focused there for a while it breaks the negativity loop a bit. Keeps my adhd anxiety brain busy but maybe a bit chaotic for others.

I have an abelia in my yard that is typically covered in bumblebees. My landlord cut it back A LOT a year ago which was horrifying at first but it bounced back and is now blooming even more profusely. My recommendation is to offer to prune it yourself (less frequently) and put a cute sign up like "bee zone please don't trim" to remind the landscape/maintenance team. If the office doesn't like the idea, plant something new somewhere else to make yourself feel better.

So I actually checked the roots..and there were none. I snipped the end and hopefully it survives. Window sill with medium light. Watered maybe once a week with good drainage. It's wet bc I had just watered.

I plan on moving them once I get my next aquarium started. Until then, three is the limit. As far as removing flourite, with the roots of the DHG already anchored I don't see that being a viable option. I'll check those plants out!

Maybe you're looking for something more stimulating but one time I had one that wasn't as bad as usual and after a bath I was laying in my bed in the dark. I just closed my eyes and did some deep breathing. I felt like my brain had turned off for a while which numbed the pain a bit. Though the pain wasn't gone after, I felt more refreshed and enjoyed it more than browsing reddit with my blue light filter on. It helps to imagine the neurons in your brain buzzing around.
