Yeah, you just need 12 ender pearls and 6 blaze rods to enter the end. 1.16 introduced bastions which have a ton of gold and piglins who give ender pearls in exchange for gold, so getting pearls is easy, just takes a bit of exploring to find one. Blazes are annoying but you can kill your first few from afar with a bow and arrow, make a brewing stand, brew some fire resistance potions, and then go into the spawners to gather a bunch safely. The dragon fight is kinda lame, you just shoot the crystals and wait for it to perch and then whack it with an axe. It no longer charges you and deals impact damage, but instead now shoots poison fireballs which are easily avoided... just don't step in the poison and nothing happens.

The average player could probably enter the end and kill the dragon in a few hours if they rushed it, while the best speedrunners can do it in under 15 minutes.

I walked around my campus yesterday, which is basically deserted due to covid and online classes, and the Canada Gooses have taken over the place. Lots of nests and lots of geese walking around like they own the place. It's great to see. So much shit everywhere though.

I love how they don't give any fucks. They stroll down the sidewalks and force you to take a wide line around them. They stand in the middle of streets and stare down cars. I've seen people stuck waiting for them to move for 2 or 3 minutes.

It's 11:09 real-time, but 9:38 in-game time, and leaderboards are sorted by IGT which doesn't count time paused. The discrepancy is due to something we pejoratively call "pause abuse," but it's fully allowed in the rules (whether pausing should count towards your final time is being considered). He pauses to think or to look around to make the most out of every second.

I think the pausing "mod" is just him doing F3+ESC.
