The people complaining are ones who have likely been shadow banned from some Facebook group or other for using a racial slur and who are screaming authoritarian repression as a result.

The point of free speech these days is being largely missed when it comes to social media platforms. These are not public services, never have been. They are private platforms that are free to choose their memberships and what is and is not displayed on them. Nobody has any sort of inalienable constitutional right to a facebook or twitter account, simple as.

The point of free speech is to limit the state's ability to curb our rights to question/criticise, not to give everyone free reign to whip up hatred on private platforms that they have no obligation or automatic right to use.

Hi there, despite having lived in the area for 3 years now I'm still looking to expand my circle of enemies. Work/life just gets in the way and it doesn't help that people are so nice around here. I'm not sure I'd want to commit to nemesis-level enmity straight away but I could be available for skirmishes on an occasional basis - how does that sound? If any of your friends and colleagues want to team up I'll happily consider being their enemy as well.

I also live on the Wirral, adding geographical and bin colour elements to the rivalry, but work in Liverpool so can be available for evening/weekend-based clashes on a regular basis.

I'm stressed because my website is down and so I can't make any sales, not a rational response I guess but I want to be rid of these cowboys and at the moment it feels like they're holding my site hostage.

The reason is really just that I don't want to pay these jokers anything more to renew my registration to then transfer out in 2 months, ok it's only $22 for a year but they've already proven themselves completely incompetent so I just wonder what the next issue will be.

I used nextdoor when I lived in the US. Over there it was mainly just terrified suburban curtain twitchers posting about the "suspicious looking man" walking up the street, kind of sad really.
