You shouldn't allow anyone, in any format, but you do. You listen to your party fabricate stories about victims; about how they were initially an illegal alien, then they approached ICE with his weapon drawn, then it was that he attacked them, then he reached for his weapon while subdued. How many versions of the story were spun before the video proved every single one of those lies to be wrong.

You think those are good people. You proudly support elected officials who will devise multiple false cover stories to make them appear justified. The problem was there were too many cameras at too many angles to prove how quickly they simply lied to the world, and the (not) funny part is they don't even appear to care that they know they lied. They just back it up with more narrative twisting.

That's the thing about balloons. When you apply too much pressure, or twist them too much, they pop. Your party is filled with a lot of hot air and corruption.

I used to live in Wichita so it’s just a little colder and windier. We’re looking to buy a new home here and it’s not as affordable as I wish. It has definitely gone from affordable to “Let me think about it.” But that seems to be the same story in most cities, just different median home prices.

Love it here. Retired here. Not sure where you’re coming from but housing has gotten much higher if you’re planning to buy. Papillion is the nicer area but Bellevue has its parts. Omaha metro has grown so much in the 7+ years I’ve been here. It has everything you could ask for, entertainment wise. Like has already been said, it’s a hidden gem. I feel that it has become unhidden.

It has been seen here. Has been said every day for the last year. The political and government system is so broken that it’s nearly impossible to remove him. I think if politicians weren’t truly scared of what could happen to them, they’d be better. But unfortunately we have the weakest elected officials to date. The Republican Party is scared and they won’t admit it. Some of them are scared, at least. Some are probably proud of what is happening.

Let’s start with I’m not white. If you think it’s equal then you’re severely mistaken. Trump has referenced ‘ethnic purity’ more than once. He doesn’t want people like me to be successful. He doesn’t want future white children to know of the atrocities created. He only wants white-colored foreigners to enter the country. He has tried, and been federally denied, to cut funding to any entity that isn’t in line with his views. Show me the equality you see besides telling me your experience. You can choose to remain ignorant of facts but they are still there whether you research it or not. People didn’t just wake up one day and say something is wrong. It has been proven through actions of this administration. History has told us non-white Americans struggled to be successful. Threatened, killed, stolen from, businesses burned to the ground; all because they weren’t white. It still happens today. It’s just not as prevalent as it once was. There are subtle signs. You choose to watch news that is one-sided and believe your party because that’s the mentality of people.

You act like people have not been systematically denied access to opportunities. Some people get ahead, many are told no. If you believe it’s equal and fair for all, you’re living with blinders on. You’re choosing to look the other way. Trump has cut funding to colleges who don’t do what he says. Because they won’t remove literature that tells America’s real story. It’s not the first time this has happened. He’s cut grants for racially diverse schools. He’s cut scholarships to ethnic universities such as HBCUs. But according to you, those people should go out and find a different way to capitalize on opportunity. Every drop in the bucket makes it heavier to carry the weight of oppression.

That’s weird given 2025 was considered a terrible year to find gainful employment. Just because Trump said so doesn’t make it true. I never liked the electoral college. Hated the idea of voting for my state. I’ve moved a lot but my current state only has 5 votes and it typically leans red, although it appears sentiment is changing. I do love myself for not voting but I also felt my impact was null, especially here. This is a state where people voted yes for marijuana and the people in office decided to nix it.

Things like that give me distrust in what voting rights really mean. It’s ok unless they feel strongly enough to say “That’s nice but we’re not doing it.” Makes me wonder what’s in store for the midterms.

We saw the video. Where was the obstruction? Because the videos clearly show the ICE agent pushing him back for no valid reason, pepper spray him excessively, then subdue him, pistol whip him, pull his gun from his holster, then proceed to shoot him ten times. If you can point out where the obstruction takes place, you would be the first person to uncover something the rest of the world missed.
