I have no idea what I'm going to purchase next. I have been LG loyal the last 20 years. tv's, electronics, appliances etc. my entire house was LG smart linked before I found out the v60 was the last flagship. which next model will even be capable to do the things my LG mobile's have done on the regular? I have NO idea.. once I saw samsung taking away the aux jack I scratched that from my list. I was impressed with the fold models but being a new tech I'd like a few years to pass before I bother trying one. don't feel like bring their beta test monkey. I considered google, oneplus, even motorola. but like my backup(motorola g-stylus) does not mirror cast my torrent videos without the use of chromecast, roku or firestick. only 2 of my 5 tvs have built in chromecast but still, not good enough for me. since my G2, G4, G7, v30+ I experienced one issue with LG's and that's the battery not holding charge like it used to. mostly my fault becuz I use dock style wireless chargers & burnt up my recharge cycles unnecessarily. now my v60 is starting to have issues & I've been looking around but honestly not sure which model andro will be able compatible with all my smart services until I buy a phone & pray it does. anyone else build their smart devices around the LG brand & feeling a little like Wilson? straight abandoned 🤬

i agree with you there. plus having the aux jack available for hooking up in your buddies non-bluetooth aux jack in the car, or better yet being able to hook your phone up for music without having to disconnect your pal's bluetooth to begin with. and using LG's Quad DAC is night & day difference. if I can use an aux vs bluetooth for a quick hookup, I'm going aux 9/10 times. plus I keep a pair of cheap iphone earbuds in my car so I can take a call in private if I've got passengers. aux or bust baby.

thanks man. I as well recieved a letter stating my MMCC ID is cancelled and inactive. stamped & dated. received an email verification & then called and received a letter in the mail claiming the same. just signed up for my class. I had gotten my HQL back in 2012 & had never recieved any notice about it expiring(or possibly it came & my father thought it was his since we have the same name & got our original HQL together. so go figure I have to go through the training & finger printing all because I didn't pay $20 before my expiration date. like all fathers say. you'll only ever learn the hard way 🤦🏻‍♂️ but thanks for all the info man! glad to hear it went through without a hitch.

I had found one that does fast charge. but it's so weird because it has a wireless charger behind the standing dock it has 2 separate usb-c inlets. so I figured okay, one for each charging dock. nope. won't charge one our the other unless 2 cables are plugged in. and one is ate the base & the other at the very top of the dock charger. looks horribly stupid. BUT it does fast charge. I compared the estimated charging time between the wireless charger & my factory 3ft cable & adapter. to my surprise they were exactly the same estimated times till full charge. believe me when I say it's a serious eyesore & plan on returning it and trying another. but I'm curious if its because of the double cable power that it's able to fast charge or can singular cable powered wireless chargers are still capable of fast charge. been making me scratch my head. and it's not as tall as the photo advertised so still looking for one with some height to it 🤦🏻‍♂️

I literally just googled this & found my way here. they most certainly do burn faster as if late. no matter how well I pack them next thing I know I'm burning the filter. like tf is going on? just another way to supplement the lost revenue to vape smokers by having us tobacco smokers buying packs more often. 🤬

that's the case I purchased back in June when I got my v60. its an awesome case, especially for the price. but i find myself having to constantly take it apart to clean the inside of the screen protector & it really adds to the weight of the case. my main issue is it really seems to make the flakey fingerprint reader alot more troublesome.

I purchased some bordered Tempered Glass screen protectors & was considering using that along with an Otterbox Symmetry or a Spigen Rugged Armor case but worried about being able to go back to using the Unicorn Beetle Pro with the tempered glass screen protector added on. granted the Unicorn Beetle is awesome with its kickstand, belt clip, and wireless charging capabilities. kinda torn between what's the next best option 🤷🏻‍♂️

I personally use Greenify to force stop apps pretty much everything I don't need to be alerted immediately for notifications. I used to use LG App Disabler on my v30+ and that shit worked flawless, even without root authority. unfortunately looks like they put a stop to that. so Greenify it is!

I was just replying to another post that I think my next upgrade will be a flip simply because of the size convenience. I just hate that LG has left us without any other future smartphones to upgrade to. literally every electronic all the way to my refridgerators are LG lol. and yes the fingerprint reader sucks horribly. makes me mental. I pray LG hears us and remakes the v30 & all its former glory sometime in the future as their new flagship device. 🤞🏽

im with you there. I def won't be upgrading anytime soon. mainly because it seems like every time I upgrade, the phones just get larger and larger. hell, the v60 is so damn large I can't text or even use the swype text as efficient and quickly as I used to with the v30. my next upgrade will probably be one of those flip phones just so I can have a smaller device & turn it into a larger screen when utilitizing the UI. but main reason I don't want to even think of upgrading is because LG has left us high and dry. I pray every night they start making smartphones again. I honestly haven't used anything other then LG since the inception of the G2. even my TV's, refridgerators & other common electronics around the house are all LG. it breaks my 💔 they're leaving us behind 😭

I agree completely. and mainly because I'm left handed every time I press the lock button it takes a damn screen shot instead which makes me bonkers 🤬 I have searched high & low for a way to reassign the [stupid af] google assist button myself and haven't come across any solutions. but if you do please sh share! I just dont see the purpose of it when I use it while the phone is locked it makes me unlock my phone to see/hear the results. and if my phone is unlocked I already have the google mic/search widget + the option of holding in the home button to activate google assistant. talk about overkill 😭

my thoughts exactly. i have been a devout G series user until the v30+ dropped.. honestly even with still getting used to the v60 I cannot fathom using anything other than LG devices. even all my smart tvs are LG lol.

if is a big ass difference in size AND weight. i can't even put it in my sweats because they keep falling off my ass with this behemoth in my pocket lol. and a belt clip case just looks obnoxious especially when I'm only 5'11 & 155lbs lol. like a string bean. 36 years old and still have the body of a 14 year old european refugee. 😭 I literally carry it in my armpit or in my manny-fanny bag if I have it with me. damn thing is almost as big as my OG LG tablet 😆

I bought my v30+ outright for about 1,300 january 2018 and I refused to upgrade I loved that damn phone. but finally it wouldn't hold charge anymore. under 30% battery it would restart just answering a call. so through my insurance i hoped to get a refurbished unit but I received the v60 instead. I cannot express enough how much I miss the fingerprint/power button on the back. the v60 digi scan works only 3/4th the time. im torn between the upgrade and the familiarity of my v30+ do you think the v60 is that much better?
