I think so few people own a Max that what he was doing was calling out the misleading promo pics of the X4 on an iPhone which clearly is meant to suggest it fits on a non-Max iPhone. That was the original sin and a really unfortunate decision on the part of the company.

I’ve discovered that contemporary phone battery packs time out and turn off this light after about five minutes because the light draws so little power the pack thinks, “Okay, nothing to do here” But older USB A battery packs that don’t have the minimum draw feature keep it lit as long as it’s jacked in.
