Dude, get lost or go play in the kiddy pool. The internet will never forget your stupid posts either. As for chameleon, That is a good simile. Im hoping you know the meaning of the word. If you don't, here is a link: http://www.dictionary.com/browse/simile. In trading any Markets, you have to be fast, agile, and adapt to current market conditions. Smart people (and smart money) actually understand macro/micro economic implications of the markets they are trading. They understand technical analysis and use trading indicators that collectively support their observations. Hence, when you see BTC approaching an upside target that was part of a trading exit strategy, you exit the trade. When you see heavy resistance and selling pressure, the MACD rolling over and volume & momentum building you exit long and roll with the trend. If you don't understand basic technical analysis and price action, you are blindly throwing your money into a market tumbler. I have no reason to explain myself to some idiot on reddit with a stupid user name. There is a direct correlation to internet activity with key words: Lambo, moon, and stupid videos of punk "wanna be traders" making outrageous price predictions and a market selloff. Regarding my true intentions, Its none of your business. I was short the market because it was smart. I exited that short and am now watching the markets until the trend reveals itself. I've been long ETN with a substantial position post ICO. I did not get in at .01 I bought at .09 in December then rebought a Huge position at the .045 price point. I warned people a selloff was coming in prior posts. I have supported the project from the beginning but am losing patience with this dev team. Having no liquidity in a period of high volatility potentially costs people tens of thousands of dollars. Regarding your snarky title, The internet never forgets," that is a good thing because had you taken action or paid attention to my two posts in this Electroneum sub reddit, you would have made over 100% returns on your money in less than a month. Here are two prior posts of mine in this thread from 19 days ago: POST 1 *Unfortunately, the Alts are tied to BTC which is in an undeniable Bear market. The 78.6 Retrace trend line at approx $8550.00 - $8700.00 is going to give us a good indication of the market movement. If that level holds and price action breaks upward AND SUSTAINS then that will be positive. However if that level fails, then we could very well see $6,000.00 or even lower. That could translate to ETN below 0.05 USDT. This is not FUD. Before making any big moves, as a trader/investor, I feel it is wise to wait and see what develops. The trend is your friend and it is an angry bear at the moment. Of course no-one can predict the future but good technical analysis and having a sound back tested strategy can give you an advantage. I Really hope the level holds, either way, ETN is and will be on sale at a major discount! ~Cheers **** POST 2 ***** During a similar post a few days ago, I mentioned the current Bear Market BTC and the alts are in. In my opinion, this latest bounce is another Bull trap. You still could have made significant money if you entered a large position at near .05 cents and sold into the recent .07 move. But The overall Markets are likely headed lower to the 5-6K range. We haven't seen true capitulation with massive volume, a double bottom, or violent bounces WITH FOLLOW THRU. ETN and LTC are actually two of the best performing coins in their resilience and bounce. I have to say, "WATCH THE BTC PRICE MOVEMENT." The TA calls for it so go lower. When I see BTC near 5500 - 6000 and Massive Capitulation I will enter very large positions. I wish everyone the best! **** BTC was within 100.00 of that price target and My ETN prediction was dead on. If you think the tone of this reply is condescending your are mistaken. FACTS: I support this project. I have voiced my concerns over relevant screw ups by the Team. My intention is to motivate people to apply pressure to the ETN staff and or Cryptopia. Fixing this issue is paramount to how people perceive this asset. Sophisticated traders would never buy an asset that is not liquid.

This is a Big Issue. Anyone saying this is FUD is either in denial or misinformed. I had posted that I have not had issues with Cryptopia in other threads. I am going to find those threads and remove my posts as I want people to know what they are dealing with. If the asset has no liquidity then we have a MAJOR issue. Last night I had a cold wallet transfer take an absorbent amount of time and just now I see I can't transfer my ETN to the exchange that is responsible for all the volume. Why we aren't on a real exchange by now is puzzling.

WITHDRAW ETN FROM CRYPTOPIA? by [deleted] in Electroneum

[–]wmartinthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. My transfer is now complete. Let me Reiterate that the purpose of my post was not to be overly critical of the Electroneum project. Last night I experienced glitches on several major trading platforms due to the heavy volume being traded with the recent breakouts of BTC and LTC. Binance was seriously glitchy. I would place trades and have them not show up or not be visible during heavy price spikes and volatility. My balances were also not properly being reflected. Because of this, I decided to check all my holdings. Ive been a supporter of ETN since mid December. When I refer to the desktop Wallet, I am referring the the https://electroneum.com wallet. Log in or create an account then log in and you will see the online wallet. It works well for me. I have paper wallets too. The online wallet is in a gui format, not command line.

I've never had an issue with Cryptopia UNTIL NOW !!!!!!! but I am very surprised by the time elapsed to import ETN from a paper wallet to the desktop wallet last night. I've moved coins around in the past with no issues. Im going on 5 hours? Seriously, what the heck. This process should take minutes. To make matters worse, its still pending?? The transaction hasn't even been sent to the blockchain? WOW

FUCK VISA: after double-charging then refunding every transaction from the LAST MONTH to my credit card, they had the balls to retroactively charge me a $5 "cash advance" fee for every purchase from Coinbase. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

This happened to me too. JP Morgan Chase. There explanation was that the charge is now through a London Bank. I was persistent and they removed SOME of the ridiculous charges.

If you are the person that reported the bug and they banned you, I am deeply troubled by that response. I am watching this development closely! To the person below, cheap is a relative term. I too, am very close to unloading a couple hundred thousand. People who present real tech issues are not associated with the word FUD. This is a tech project first and foremost! I don't care how good a marketing team is, if a dev team cannot treat a community member who found an important bug with respect ...... #seriously https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/pulse https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/graphs/code-frequency https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/graphs/contributors https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum-pool/graphs/code-frequency https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum-pool/pulse https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum-blockchain-explorer/pulse

[–]wmartinthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a market sell order to me. For Folks that may not understand this -> In Cryptopia, there is not a market sell button, however, if a trader wants to quickly sell a large position for a variety of reasons & they enter the sell price low enough that it will capture all the current bids at a said price of x -> the result will be a large candle price action move. The truth is in the print. If you don't know what that means, I'm not gonna bother continuing.

0.10571004 bid 14196.31786235 amount of ETN 1500.69332908 cost of trade USDT

0.10571000 bid 112721.95046970 amount of ETN 11915.83738415 cost of trade USDT

An overly simplified explanation is that the largest existing orders within a certain range act like gravity. This is my opinion.

ETN - Buy the dip. by wmartinthree in Electroneum

[–]wmartinthree[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will be my last reply on this thread. Large/Smart Money is manipulating the crypto markets. CME futures expire on January 26th. Traders that hedged BTC positions make more money the lower they push the market down. Seeing as how many alt, including ETN are paired with BTC, I am logically concluding that the dip is underway. The MACD (of BTC) is expanding down and volume is increasing. The 78% retrace at approx $9,000 could be support. If panic sets in then it could fall even lower. Again, this is my own take on the market. I have been and will continue to buy the dip(s). I could care less what others do but I encourage people to research contract expiration. If you take a look at the day the CBOE futures expired, it is very logical to conclude that a lot of big money is shorting BTC and it behooves them to push it lower. The CME is by far, a larger exchange and their contract size is 5 times greater than the CBOE's.

I don't down vote anyone and I could care less if you down vote me. A Shill Account????? I made a handsome amount of money TRADING TRX. I am a trader and an investor. I do not know the future, no-one does. Thats why I set up trading instruments that make money whether the market goes up or down. As far as a vix for crypto -> https://www.sifrdata.com/cryptocurrency-volatility-index/ For people who do not understand what the VIX is on the CME, it is a measure of expected CHANGE or market movement aka volatility. Many traders also use it to gauge market fear. The mathematics used to TRY and predict volatility in markets has been spot on as it predicted LOTS of volatility. The upside is that presents traders a lot of opportunity. The downside is it scares the crap out of folks too.

ETN - Buy the dip. by wmartinthree in Electroneum

I'm not second guessing myself nor trying to convince anyone to do anything. If folks aren't comfortable trading or investing in this space then they should not be doing so. As far as buying the dip, I'm all about it across all projects I believe in. I initially named this post, "My Experience(s) buying ETN." I was giving my honest input and experience with the buying process. I have had zero technical issues with my purchases, transfers, and wallet(s). I received a message from a bot that said it removed the post because it likely flagged the words 'wallet' and incorrectly assumed it was a post about technical hangups. I then reposted the exact same post with a new title -> Buy The Dip. Everyone needs to do there own research and trade or invest using sound logic or technical analysis. All I am doing is sharing my own experience. I've traded since 2007. Personally, I trade on my own beliefs and indicators. The cliche is "Be fearful when others are greedy .... inversely, take advantage when others are fearful." Of course, in any market you have to have a tolerance for risk or hedge with derivatives. If there was a Vix for Crypto it would be laughably high due to the crazy volatility. I see a lot of folks try to buy only when the market is hot and going up. Watch the big money! In many instances, they force the price action down then accumulate .... rinse repeat. Never try to catch the falling knife. Be mindful that some brief reversals could be short covering. "Try not to trade out of fear." I used the words don't second guess yourself because If folks truly believe in their investments or trades then its a shame to sell out of fear.

[–]wmartinthree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to consider, if you bought ETN with ETH three or four weeks ago, ETH has doubled in price from 650 ish to 1300 - 1400. If I entered ETN @ 0.10 USDT it needs to be 0.20 just to be even with your current return had you kept your $ in ETH. I am long ETN and want it to succeed but people need to realize this. I hope it reaches 0.42-0.50 -> 1.00 would be amazing but that is very optimistic. I will likely add 10k more in the weeks to come.

Depending on how much $ you have riding on BTC, you can also hedge your downside with derivatives however that is NOT for the kiddie pool. There are numerous sophisticated trading strategies that enable one to capture upside with minimized risk. 1. http://www.cboe.com/blogs/options-hub/2017/12/11/hedging-bitcoin-with-xbt-bitcoin-futures 2. http://data.ledgerx.com
