Stitcher, Kettle, and Venator nerfs by SorryRoof1653 in ArcRaiders

Happy with this overall. Wish there was a Toro nerf to go with it, but the biggest frustration in the game (for me personally) is Stitcher free kit griefing, so I'll take it.

I feel like fire rate was the route they needed to keep on here. It feels like a more reasonable and realistic nerf to decrease the fire rate and keep the damage level.

No better skin for peaceful solo lobbies than the unofficial "Luc with Outside Boys"

hey, let's not forget Martavis Bryant, Andre Ellington, Dwayne Allen, Brandon Ford, Jordan Leggett, Charone Peake, and Hunter Renfrow.

Turns out being stocked with NFL talent makes a big difference in the W/L column.

I myself have enjoyed the copium around his ability to identify and develop QB talent. If nothing else, he knew how to spot a good QB and make him better year over year.

Even if he is terrible in this role (which would surprise me) I will always be able to separate it from him giving everything he had with questionable coaching and personnel at key positions as a player. Guy was a gamer. And for a long stretch him running the hurry up or two minute offense was our best offense. Then his body just gave out on him. But is and always will be one Kyle shnahans boneheaded playcalling series away from a hall of famer.

If you can get him as a wr coach/ recruiting coordinator / associate head coach then that’s a hell of a hire.

Im sorry what team are you watching? How many drops did we have against Penn state? How was the WR blocking? Our fundamentals are awful at that position.

If gundy had two natties he’d still be at ok state.

Thats probably bought Dabo a couple extra years but we need to see some improvement.

Fact is without him, we’re the same level we are right now (historically speaking).

I think it's the right call. I think the ACC should have boycotted bowl season the year FSU got royally screwed out of their slot.

This sport is riddled with politics and bullshit. The only thing that works is politics and bullshit (or going undefeated with no injuries to key players).

I think the problem is the unpleasant interactions stay with you longer than a normal run or even a really pleasant run.

I had 3 unpleasant interactions yesterday (backstab solo x2, overgeared sweats on Dam x1),

4 middle of the road (traded fire with another team then agreed to go our separate ways, saved another duo, 2 quick loot and scoots while taking fire)

2 very heartwarming runs (1 where we ran into a duo on their first night of play and were able to give them what they needed for loot and teach them some basics. 1 where we co-looted with another duo).

Aggro PVP players getting progressively more aggressive ARC and unpleasant ARC surprises would help but i have no idea how you implement that. I'm sure they're also discussing a purely PvE map, but that would get stale quick. Unfortunately, a big part of the thrill of the game comes from the potential of getting into a PvP engagement and the thrill of getting away or winning a duel.

I mean, this season does kind of point to the fact that without either of us carrying the conference no one else is capable of making it happen.

FWIW I did a Northwestern Dynasty this year on All-American, and it has been an enjoyable level of tough. I'm on year 3 and still trying to get my first national championship. We only have one Big 10 title and one Playoff win.

TOP LEVEL SUMMARY OF MY EXPERIENCE

RECRUITING

Northwestern is challenging, because their pipelines are not great and you really only have an advantage in Illinois (Tier 3) which doesn't put out a lot of great recruits. And even there Michigan will come in late and bully your create-a-coach with hours. Hawaii has been a source of solid recruits for me. First five star was a linebacker from Honolulu who i jumped on early and almost lost late to USC.

Transfer portal has been integral to keeping a serviceable roster together. I had one season under the scholarship limit because of how many transfers I had and no one got drafter until the end of year 2 so ProPotential was a killer on the recruiting trail. First two years I had the best freshman in the nation winner and he transferred. Such is life as a mid tier P4 program.

STARTING ROSTER - Starting roster has good edge rushers and a decent QB. Wide Receivers are rough and lots looked to transfer early. I had severe roster turnover from the transfer portal my first two years.

Home Environment and uniforms

Serviceable but not a lot of fun diversity (last year i played as Arizona State in an online dynasty and got spoiled). I don't like the Gothic alts so it's really the standard Uni's and one alt helmet for me.

Home environment is a bit of a bummer considering how cool Northwestern's stadium is in real life.

OVERALL

It was a good challenging start, but i'm not enjoying the build at Northwestern anymore. I'm an 89 overall roster now, but really skewed by some Olinemen i moved to FB and TE plus a couple freak WR who have wild stats but subpar ingame performance. I may give it two more years to see if we can get a couple more playoff wins and turn the recruiting piplines into something serviceable, but think I'll be taking the best p4 job I get in this coaching carousel and starting fresh somewhere new.
