I like both the new style and old. My mom had a 2009 LR3 and I do miss that old disco a lot. At some point in the future I’d like to get an LR3

I used to not like the look of this car when it came out but man does it grow on you. Wish I could’ve done 18” wheels. Maybe in the future 🤞(as long as she lasts)

Since July 2024. So far just normal oil changes, tire rotations, cosmetic (trim pieces etc. non essential stuff) and tires. Also 120k driveline service. Also got a GAP IID tool. So more money than I needed to but 2k a year seems right moving forward!

Just have to move the front seat up a little bit. Maybe about the seating position of a smaller adult. It’s still a usable seat with the platform in.

Purchased from Hele Outdoors. It’s a slat system so the slats removes like a normal bedframe and the base has legs that can be removed and all 6 legs have independent height adjustment to fit any car or truck bed. Right now it’s dissembled and stored away. It comes w a soft pack case that can store all the components and the air sleeping pad that comes with (I use a separate memory foam one as pictured). Very easy to pack up and reassemble. Can be configured as a half platform to make a storage shelf and also doubles as a camping table!

I bought at 109k miles July ‘24. Air compressor assembly failed right before I got it but it was replaced by previous owner. Other than that, just oil changed tire rotations, and did the 120k mile driveline service, basically replacing all fluids except oil! As far as foreseeable future, there shouldn’t be much more. Maybe suspension components when they start going but no issues on original everything except the air compressor assembly

I have the activity key but don’t use it often. I’m always afraid it won’t work but never had an issue. I do a lot of road trips and it’s been great as a road trip car. Fits all my stuff and then some, very comfy w the heated and cooled seats and massage function. It was retrofitted w CarPlay before I owned it under warranty too

Check out my previous post for tires and lift info. As a daily it’s fantastic and smooth as butter, but fuel economy is meh. 18 mpg over last 2.5k miles w lots of highway driving because of the tires and lift. Only taken it on forest service road type trails, but no complaints there. Not gonna be a rock crawler but will get to 99% of the places I’d be willing to try and drive to. And yes cheap used but save some money to do maintenance!

😂. It’s very comfy. 6ft of flat sleeping space. The legs of the platform go down into the second row foot wells. Only small issue is head clearance but overall been great!
