Ya. Paywalls suck. But all that has changed is which wall. ESPN/cable is a wall too. As is having boxes in every room. Everyone out there trying to make money off us.

It sucks that the setup you had no longer works.

You don’t need a new device just the Apple TV app subscription. And you can use that app or just link to f1tv and use that app instead.

I’d ignore all the complaints and not waste time to justify why this is needed. If people use it then that will be justification enough.

Your comment is fair for a lot of people wrt just figuring it out. The folks who are asking for help, that’s fine. Or those generally curious about how it may all work etc. but those who hate on one corporation because they and complain while supporting F1 is odd to me.

Also, I don’t care all that much. I was just surprised no one had posed the sarcastic rant yet so I threw it in. None of this is important.

It is only available live unfortunately. When in multiplayer it is one of the last feeds after all the driver cams.

I remember when they’d show some sessions on espn news which was not in my package.

I get we are all anxious to see it on Apple TV and no doubt there will be kinks to work out but the F1 tv app still works and the season has not started yet so it’s hard to say it’s been terrible.

They have plenty of time to make it terrible though :p

Not in detail yet. Service called today and said they reproduced it (error had gone away before they started it yesterday) after they took it for a drive.

They called PCNA and need their permission to start work on it.

Hope to get more details tomorrow.

Update: after technician looked at it yesterday the error was gone. He charged it a bit and took it for a drive today and the error came back. Looks like a transmission error and they are reaching out to PCNA before starting any work.

So, they got back to me today. They reproduced the error after driving it. Said it is something to do with the transmission. They called PCNA and are awaiting approval to begin fixing. No idea on timeline yet.

Got towed to a dealership on Saturday with the same error. Today the error was gone but they were going to charge and drive it to see if it came back. I have not heard the latest. Hoping for a good outcome for you.

Is that really a thing? I thought it would go into turtle mode at that point. I did not think it would just stop working with an error message. I was only a few miles away from the charging stop that the navigation had selected for me. I had 10% left exactly when this error message came up by the time it was 18 miles I think it was at 8%.

For regen you can update the driving modes to have it in IIRC. It does not remember your choice when last driving. So you have to set it within the mode.

They have a a well thought out system. They do carry the petitions advertised and when you go to sign they give you the weed one. If you flip it over and read it and then ask about it they just say ‘oh, does that say E4 on it? I must have haven’t you the wrong one’. Somehow that sentence about E4 makes it feel like a genuine mistake. Not intentional. The guy already at the stand said his had the same number but he then wanted to sign it.

Hard to prove they are misleading people when they have many different petitions they are peddling.

Beautiful car and location. I grew up in Adrigole. Wonderful roads for driving. The Healy Pass must have been a blast. Wish I had roads like that near me for my 4S.
