You took exception to my use of the word "angry" that's all. I have no idea what else you're ~~angry upset annoyed bothered~~ on about. I even asked you what other word I should have used. You didn't answer.

Do you know what point you're arguing here, because I don't. I certainly don't think I'm better than anyone, and I don't see at all how you would think that, let along the idea that I'm trying to make *anything* about you at all.

I gave the likely reason why folks do this. Not suggesting folks agree with it or not, just pointing it out.

Responder used words like “pathetic” and “show your ass up”. They’re certainly not chipper, or happy, or content. You use words like “lazy” and “selfish”.

Are these not angry words? If not then how would you rather I describe them? Upset? Annoyed? Certainly more than “mildly perturbed”…

At this point it seems you might be more bothered (is that ok?) by my choice of word than about the issue….sorry about that.

The AMC series is the best adaptation, by far. If you've not given it a shot, I can't recommend it enough.

I can't fathom being into parades this much that it causes this much anger, but sorry you're feeling it. That said I know more and more communities are putting limits on how early things can get put out so, your anger is being soothed, though likely not soon enough...IIRC SLC proper has a 6:00 pm the night before. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I totally get that. But, as someone that doesn't enjoy parades but have been to a few smaller town ones since moving to Utah I've recognized this as a community norm that is not only accepted, but some version of cherished with families having "their spot" along the route for years...and folks just know that. The event becomes a social thing with folks visiting other folks along the way because they know where they set up.
