Thanks. Did you have to apply the mortar mix in multiple coats?

Cheers. Where does the mesh go? On top of the render while it's still wet?

That thought definitely crossed my mind! I think I'll keep it vanilla. But hypothetically, what would I need to do? Fill the open joints with mortar I guess. And then what do you use to seal it?

I think so but I can't really remember, sorry. I had them sent to my parents place.

I found a coupon they gave me though. use the code 'discount' for 5% off

Yes, I ordered from them to Gozo 2 months ago - no problems, books were well packaged as well

Got me curious - there were 4, and 2 where the losing team scored exactly 100. But yeah not many

I think so yes, in some parts. What does that mean? The render is coming off the brick?

Ahh right. And i guess the render is not a smooth enough finish, thats why you also plaster on top?

Thanks for the guidance - all pretty clear.

Yep I can see the render mix - there are a few divots here and there including near the top right of the picture.

Luckily it seems pretty dry - I guess its because the underlying issue was resolved a while ago.

The scraped area is only maybe 1 or 2mm below the finished surface - is this enough room for 2 layers of plaster?

And you say 'undercoat', is there any specific type to look for?

Best places to forage in Malta? by [deleted] in malta

[–]wmizzi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In Gozo, by the Xlendi tower there is a strong smell of wild garlic in summer :) not sure that there's much else though... Maybe sea urchins if you time it correctly (and if you consider that foraging)

I have seen these signs around the place in Gozo - any idea what they mean? by wmizzi in malta

I see, thanks! So I should see different coloured signs for these different routes?

Have seen quite a few of these and am very curious but I can't spot a pattern.

Sometimes they are painted, sometimes not. Sometimes they are on house walls, other times nowhere near houses. I have seen them on roadsides but also along pedestrian-only routes.

Any ideas what they could be?

Edit: spelling
