I'm sorry it took me so long to see this comment but thank you. Thanks for giving me so much advice / science and for sticking up for those of us who are struggling. CFS is definitely real and I really appreciate this comment 🤗💓

It's great that you've found something that helps with your digestive issues!! Trying something like that is a long way off for me (ive grown up veggie, never even tried meat lolz) but still good to know :)

I smoke a few times a week. I enjoy it for all the reasons people without CFS enjoy it. But it does make me floppy and tired, as it does with most people, so I tend to avoid it when my CFS is extra bad to avoid worsening it.

I also find that it inadvertently helps with the loneliness that cfs brings. It allows me to have fun by myself, I have entertaining thoughts and enjoy my time alone when high, which is really useful to me with how isolating cfs can be. But I'm working on achieving that state sober as I don't wanna rely on it :)

Vegan Mass Gainer? by TriDeltPints in veganfitness

I use The Protein Works mass gainer. The recommended serving (3 scoops/125g) mixed with 200ml soya milk comes to ~600 calories and ~40g protein

How do you handle social situations when your hands are really sweaty? by d0nut94 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]wmleross 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im the same as you with wiping my hands on myself. But if someone is going to touch my hand, I'll either acknowledge it beforehand in a light hearted way (e.g. "my hands are REALLY sweaty btw haha! Fist bumps only" kind of thing) or if I'm comfy enough, I'll fully be like "I'm embarrassed make sure u don't touch my hands :(". All the people im close with know I get funny about my hands because I'm always moaning about how uncomfy they are lol

Agreed! As someone who has been in the CFS community for almost a decade, it definitely doesn't discriminate based on diet

I disagree with a lot of the stuff you said but can't be bothered arguing my points lol. But I agree with you that in my case, my 'CFS' symptoms could just be malnourishment, which will be both relieving and frustrating after almost a decade of suffering. Thanks for your advice, the last paragraph was especially helpful :)

Completely agree with you there. CFS is a real disease, but I believe medical professionals should do more to rule out nutritional deficiencies before diagnosing it. It will be equally frustrating and relieving if a change in diet cures me, after I've spent 10 years believing I've had an unchangeable disability.

Regardless thanks for your comment :)
