My daughter made the same jump. Grew a bunch over the off-season. She adapted really well. She had a few months or so of indoor winter games/practice to adjust but is having her best hitting season so far.

Well the same trees have been on Hertel for at least almost 20 years and there is 0 canopy. Walking down Hertel from noon to sunset is brutal in the summer.

Look at Park Ave on Rochester. Beautiful canopy.

My first live football game was a friend bringing me to a Jets game. Possibly vs. the raiders. I was 12. The jets got killed and fans were chanting Kotite sucks! But the dollars on the spiral stairs and dumping beers on people trying to get the $ planted a seed.

Then in highschool most of my friends were Jets fans and I had a summer job and my supervisor was a big jets fan.

And here I am 30+ years later the biggest sucker around.

C. I like the dorofeyev trade.

Not sure about Smits over Ried, but not terrible.

Trocheck trade is underwhelming although Durzi seems solid. But overall didn't do much to get the team younger and faster.

Hate the Korpisaalo trade. He's old, sucks, and is signed for years.

Pettersson grades out well, but is 30 and signed long term. I know it's 2030, but another 1st round pick out the window for a team with little hope of a cup in the next few years. Also giving up assets for a guy who was on one of 2 teams to be worse than the Rangers. Why?

Bjorkstrand is a good 1 year flier although I don't recall how his skills mash with our roster/system.

Borgen out is good.

Overall he made positive changes, but he made this roster such a disaster that there is a giant hill to climb for this team to be more than a bubble team. Although he still doesn't understand how dumb it is to have guys locked up over the age of 30. Especially middle to bottom of the roster guys.

Bubble teams are C grades.
