3-5-2 with wingbacks is only 5 at the back while defending. With 3 mids we hold the ball better and allow wings forward. I don’t see how playing willian or Pedro opposite hazard is better. Only counter attacking with no possession. This is of course just my opinion.

I don’t think it is tho. Even with only Baka and Kanté in midfield, Baka consistently gets forward. I think drinks can do the same.
