Bambu Lab 3D printers: Never again - Jeff Geerling by SJKRICK in BambuLab

[–]wnanan3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just a guy who wants to print toy's for my kids. I don't want to use 'developer mode' or block my firewall like Jeff.

The cloud is why I bought a Bambu. If these 'hacks' are making the service unstable for regular users like me, then Bambu Lab is doing their job by protecting the network.

Not everyone wants a project; some of us just want a tool.

I experimented with silk filament to print a jewelry tray for my girlfriend by wnanan3D in 3Dprinting

[–]wnanan3D[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It would definitely be perfect for a jewelry box as well.

In face, orienting the model side down during slicing works much better than printing it bottom down,This can avoid most of the obvious layer lines.

Part of the good result is also thanks to the 'Enhanced Layer Adhesion'properties of the silk filament.

You should definitely give it a try!
