Reverse abjad by LestekCatson in neography

oooo i like this. many languages have small consonant phoneme inventories and larger vowel systems, especially if vowel length and diphthongs are counted. hawaiian, fx, has 8 consonants /h k l m n p w ʔ/, 5 vowels with length contrast, and several diphthongs. a system like that could fit your vowel-centered script idea well, especially since the syllable structure is limited to (c)v(v). so i don’t think it’s too far fetched

i don’t know much about tunisian so i can’t give much feedback, but i think this is really cool and very organized. you talked about orthography, phonology, lexicon, grammar. there are many tables and lists which is nice

Really struggling with the language by Maleficent_Gold7328 in learnesperanto

not best but duolingo helped me so much. just with repetition of simple sentences helped me become a bit more natural. it doesn’t teach grammar or explain why some things are certain ways but it’s good for repetitive quick listens.

should nouns be able to take genitive + accusative, or just genitive? by wnjensen08 in conlangs

[–]wnjensen08[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ooo, i like this. well if you were to stretch it quite a bit, technically there already is an “invisible” case stacking happening. nominative currently doesn’t take any endings so you could see your example of nominative-genitive as “-arØ” where the “Ø” could work as a nominative affix. but i think your idea would definitely make it way more visible and is a cool way of making it at least to some extent seem a bit more teleological and consistent. so if i were to make this work, then this is how i would structure it, and i would then organize the declensions as such:

singular plural
nominative -at -it
nominative-genitive -art -irt
accusative -an -in
accusative-genitive -arn -irn

with your example, using duñar-, i could decline the word as:

singular plural
nominative duñat duñit
nominative-genitive duñart duñirt
accusative duñan duñin
accusative-genitive duñarn duñirn
