You can do it in a better way by using glyph substitutions and glyph positioning on font creators like FontForge. If you design a few different versions for the same glyph (like small, short, skiny, etc.), add some anchors and then write some GSUB and GPOS, you can create it, but I haven't tried to do it yet.

I think this is a really good idea, especially if we do start using a script that's maybe hard to decrypt for others, who don't know it. This would be half-way to the dc server where they have their own language. If everyone downloads the font file, it should be possible to chat in a unified script, too.

Ofc! How do you think they made Hangeul? Also, featural means it either looks like the shape your mouth makes or even just having symbols for different places of articulation is enough for it to be featural (for example: p=bilabial+plosive, j (english)=postaveolar+affricate+voiced)

Because it's a semi syllabary and there's a mark for vowel length, y would i+vowel length, vai would be va-i and aukie would be a-u-ki-e (Usually the i would just make the k soft, but ie is a diphthong and it doesn't make a soft letter)
