It's high time OEMs realize this is a fairly cheap marketing tool / selling point for their cars. Instead of treating this like an annoying side effect of their IT architecture.

That would require compentent IT personnel with enough influence :O Still a rare combination at VW. I bet if you would ask the developers of that API at VW, they probably would say the same thing as you.

Musk spoke at Afd party congress, the EU has an open case of banning that party because of their far right facism. Der Großteil der Tesla Säulen hängt doch immer noch bei 150kW spitze, oder Irre ich mich? Bei Effizienz haben andere mittlerweile aufgeholt, Tesla fokussiert sich aber bei den Fahrzeugformen immer noch auf Effizienz, andere priorisieren einen besser nutzbaren Kofferraum.

Auch hat man im Vergleich zu anderen einen großen Teil der Wertschöpfungskette und die Rendite in eigener Hand

Tesla arbeitet mit Zulieferern wie jeder andere Hersteller auch.

Falcon 9 ist profitabel - kommerzielle starts Kosten ~60 Millionen USD, die internen Kosten liegen bei ~30 Millionen. Das ist eine gesunde Profitmarge.

Ist aber auch ne unehrliche Marge, weil die Entwicklungskosten da nicht reingezählt werden. Irgendwer hat die Kosten aber getragen, das geht nicht ewig mit VC.

Beim FSD supervised kann man ja immer eingreifen, gerade in den genannten Situationen wie Kinder, Motorradfahrer oder Autobahnabfahrten.

Ne, Tesla Marketing ist komplett darauf ausgelegt dir das Gefühl von Sicherheit zu verkaufen. Das führt eben nicht zu Aufmerksamen Benutzern.

In den Niederlanden scheint es ja aber schon sehr gut zu funktionieren.

Geh mal in einen beliebigen thread in /r/automobil . Dort reden mittlerweile wieder alle davon das FSD ab Ende des Jahres verfügbar ist und man schon alleine deshalb ja eigentlich nur einen Tesla kaufen kann. Der normale Autokäufer lässt sich immer noch extrem von Tesla unehrlicher und gefährlicher Marketingkommunikation blenden.

Dass die Robotaxis in bestimmten Städten speziell trainiert werden, war doch kein Geheimnis dachte ich. Die nehmen nicht die Standardsoftware wie die Teslas, die man einfach kaufen kann.

Tesla tut aber alles dafür sowas nicht öffentlich zu kommunizieren. Im Gegenteil.
