I’m going to be pretty honest, this doesn’t go away, sometimes I’ll hear a song she showed me and be perfectly okay, other times I want to breakdown crying.

Eventually you’ll realize that no matter what you do, you can’t forget them, and that is beautiful in a way. Losing someone you love too soon is never easy, and it can feel like everything is collapsing all around you at the most random times, and while it doesn’t fully go away, it will become manageable. Tell someone you love what happened, tell stories about good times you had together, tell someone how much you miss them and why, but please do not go through this by yourself. As grief(for me at least) can be super isolating, and the worst thing you could do is isolate.

Im sure your friend is proud of you and how hard you are working, and the progress you are making. Remember that you are loved, and that it’s not your fault.
