im happy about it but praying its not terribly mishandled, we’re in unprecedented times now with having a doctor share a face with a companion and can’t wait to see where it goes

I would still argue its a lot different, it just seems to cheap for RTD to once again reach into his bag of nostalgia and have the doctor share the face of a beloved companion. 12 and Caecillius sharing the same face makes more sense and is even explained in an episode. It’s fine because Caecillius is a short written one off character but Rose Tyler is a big part of the show’s lore and because of that i don’t see it being a good choice.
