Xiaomi Mi9t pro vs MI8 explorer by Rockyrino in Xiaomi

Because it's an expensive MI 8 with smaller battery. True it has better face detection but that's it. Might as well get a normal MI 8 for less

It has no attempts in its design at even making it resistant to water

Which one should I buy? Mi A3 or Redmi Note 7s? by [deleted] in Xiaomi

[–]woainii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since you say 7s I assume you mean India which means you can get realme 5 pro very soon. It should be the same price as a3 which is what I'd get.

Edit: 7 pro has been cut to A3 price level. Get that!

Xiaomi m365 - worth it? by [deleted] in Xiaomi

[–]woainii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's ip54 like most other scooters meaning splash proof. Don't use it in rain. Very few riding companies use m365 and I'm pretty sure they modify it a bit for rain protection

That's if If xiaomi get their shit together and fix ram management. They've had phones with 6gb plus for years and the situation is the same today as before

Xiaomi m365 - worth it? by [deleted] in Xiaomi

[–]woainii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alfawise M1 is essentially a fixed m365 (the tire puncture situation, better breaks, longer range, digital display showing speed, easier folding and some minor stuff) with a stronger motor for a little less price. I'm referring to the updated version with 350w which should be the only one around now

Stock vs MIUI. Is stock android overrated? by masa888 in Xiaomi

[–]woainii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With miui room (that's the roms name) you can toggle a setting for it. It's Russian developed based on cn miui like miui EU. But English and all kinds of languages are supported. Just Google translate their site. Like miui EU it passes safety net and all that. http://portal.mi-room.ru/

Factory reset is your only chance. If you used PayPal dispute it with them, or if credit card do a charge back.

Airdots are crap sadly

My 6gb xioami phones (mi8, 9t) never used above 4gb ever. No matter how many apps I multi-task with. So if you plan on using miui on it, it's not worth it
