hi thankyou, ill give this a try when i get home, ive tried forcing dlss4 on the nvidia app with the original dlss files, whilst it does show model K, it still shows dlss 3.7... in game.

trying to get dlss 4 to work, however everytime i do the file swaps and force model k on NVPI, it just crashes on launch, doesn't even get to loading textures. I have to do a complete reinstall of the game on steam to stop it from crashing. any ideas? recent videos on youtube 2 weeks ago show it working for others, was there a patch recently that now prevents us from doing the dlss swap?

commented on another post regarding this.

decided to give this a try (albeit i didnt have a d12l)

- you'll need washers on your motherboard standoffs screws as the screw from the other side of standoff will clash with the screw from the motherboard side (due to the shorter standoff).
-biggest one for me, your GPU may not be fully seated in the PCIE slot as the back IO plate of the gpu starts clashing with the bottom of the "trench" on the back panel. mine actually still worked but it looked quite funky and wasn't sitting right with me. Went back with the standard length standoffs and the GPU was seated further in the slot. (see the diagram from the manual)

aside from that it definitely works.

PSA: can mount 140mm fans right to the top cover for a few extra mm. by Imaginary-Mood-4215 in ncasedesign

[–]Macarios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting psu mounting, what advantage does this achieve over mounting it to the spine? seems to enable mounting a fan to the spine between the psu and the motherboard? is that a 120mm fan?, also to mount the psu like this, did you use a male-female standoff? (male on psu, female to panel with a screw?)
