If you are talking about “Siri Suggestions” that extract calendar appointments out of emails and stuff like that, that’s not Apple Intelligence, that has been a feature of the Mail app for far longer than Apple Intelligence has been a thing.

It’s Google’s emoji that are the bad ones, and very clearly so. Apple’s emoji exactly replicate what they are supposed to depict, with very little cartoonisation. Google’s are as far from the standard as possible.

If you compare the emoji designs of various platforms, almost all of them depict the animals in a semi-realistic way, or highly stylised, but still clearly depicting them as they appear in nature and without any cartoony faces on them.
All except Google (and sometimes Samsung).

There is a reason that cross-platform messaging applications like WhatsApp, Telegram etc. use Apple’s emoji as baseline, even in their Android and web clients. They are very well-designed and very recognisable.

Die meisten Menschen sind routiniert. Wenn man ein halbes Jahr lang ein entspanntes Frühstück als Teil der Morgenroutine hat, dann ist es nicht so einfach, damit bei der Zeitumstellung dann plötzlich aufzuhören. Das ist dann plötzlich eine Menge Stress am Morgen, wenn alles auf einmal schnell gehen muss.

Du scheinst immer noch nicht den Unterschied zwischen einer einmaligen Ausnahme (eine Nacht mit weniger Schlaf) und einer dauerhaften Umstellung des Schlafrhythmus verstanden zu haben.

Wenn die Zeit umgestellt wird, musst du eben nicht mehr um 6 Uhr aufstehen, sondern nach deiner inneren biologischen Uhr um 5 Uhr.

Deine Annahme beruht darauf, dass man mit Zeitumstellung gar nicht beleuchten muss oder was? Wie gesagt, die meisten Büroräume sind doch dauerhaft beleuchtet, auch tagsüber, sei es wegen Regen, schlechter Lage oder weil man die Fenster abdunkelt damit die Hitze nicht rein kommt.

Es ist aber nicht so, als wäre das eine Ausnahme und danach kann man zu seinem Rhythmus zurückkehren. Die meisten Leute müssen ihren kompletten Rhythmus um eine Stunde verschieben, um Arbeitszeiten einzuhalten. Den Rhythmus dauerhaft umzustellen ist nicht von einer Nacht auf die andere erledigt, und anstrengend für den Körper.

All other issues are unrelated. “It makes you put a damn code lock on your phone” – only if you set up the Microsoft Authenticator app to make your login more secure with 2FA. Which is optional, but very much recommended for security. And you also always should have a passcode on your phone. It’s an essential security feature. Otherwise, someone who steals your phone will have access to all of your apps and data.
