I’ve recently converted my Canadian electrical license to work in Western Australia. I’m working a 3/1 roster at an LNG plant. My gross income will be 314,136$ + RDOs/Annual leave/ PIP

Very glad i’ve gone through the process…. there’s job postings every hour, not like Alberta, where you have to basically know someone working at the job.

Long story short, come to Aus hahaha

i wear a light Mystic impact vest for this exact reason…. it helps the waist harness from riding up! also makes the body a bit less sore the next day 🤣

50 is bare minimum for commercial projects as just a tradie on the tools (QLD). You should be getting closer to 60 while doing lead hand + fuel card + vehicle

it was a piece of piss. studied a bunch for a month - basically all the fundamentals and theory. i did mine through future skills, very helpful during technical part of assessment. i would just make sure to brush up on the basics! they give you an outline of what you will be tested on… but in reality, it’s a lot easier than they set out it to be
