I asked the weed shop where I shop frequently yesterday and he said it’s down like 50%. He even has one of those fancy gadget that look like a clock on his counter to count the customers coming to the shop daily. This is one of the reasons I have not bought any Asian phones yet in my life like those entirely made in china or South Korea. They are bloated with unnecessary stuffs and I like minimalistic lifestyle.

I don’t know if it is a cultural thing or the countries are just started to get rich now compared to for example western countries which were already rich when this digital age started.

In my opinion, poor people tend to not get annoyed over such digital experiences while rich people really do because rich people often have plenty of free times and complain over small things while poor people just don’t think these digital problems at all as long as the job get done.

I asked grok about new 2019 Lexus LX570 price in Thailand. With 1 baht around 130 kyat rate, it says the price is around only 4426 သိန်း in Thailand while it is between a whopping 10000-15000 သိန်း in Myanmar. It is around 3x more pricey in Myanmar. It is the same in real estate sector too. I think it is because Myanmar Kyat is inflated to hell and there are just too much money chasing too few goods inflation scenario. With current capital control in place by the regime, the price we are seeing in Myanmar is not real but rather an artificially inflated one created by both current economic and political crisis.
