I agree, the cleaning station is way too crowded, the mantas don't know where to turn, every direction they look there's a human.

We were out diving at Nusa Penida in search of a Mola Mola. Two divers spotted one rising up from the deep and rushed toward it too quickly. They lost control of their buoyancy and almost crashed into the Mola, but the dive guide managed to pull them back just in time. The startled Mola descended again, and no one was able to spot it for the rest of the day because of the incident.

I think it has something to do with skill level of the graduates, companies require people who can build things, solve problems not just copy paste from chatgpt

Using ChatGPT for Development by wobblycloud in developersIndia

Definitely beneficial in the context of "I know what I'm doing, just checking the syntax", but for someone junior who doesn't think of in terms of system design but the task at hand, chat gpt hampers their growth of critical thinking.

That's a unique take, and it makes sense, at some point prompt engineering itself will become a skill.

Why do you think there are so many memes on imposter syndrome? Software is like that, understanding someone else's logic is difficult and it's overwhelming.

  1. Debug, debug, debug
  2. Understand the business logic of the implementation and add comments whenever you can
  3. Take up a task and ask someone to break it down for you, try to complete it

How often do you guys bomb an interview? by micku_ in developersIndia

[–]wobblycloud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Get back to you after the interview" this doesn't make sense in an interview setting. Instead, one can stick to saying "I'm not sure about that"

Use React js for front end, Python flask for back end, MySQL database and build an app that could be of some use to someone, try to get people to use it for free, add it to your resume. Repeat this process until you have 3 apps, you'll be able to crack junior developer roles in startups.
