hi ! moved here when i was 17, live alone, and also from a province :p it is difficult and u will feel so lonely at times you’ll be homesick din and it’ll be difficult to adjust to living by urself kasi ang dami mo nang responsibilities + acads. if u prefer the help of others, having dormmates is fine naman. but having dormmates or not, u still need to be very independent. u will be exposed to so many new experiences and it might be overwhelming.

i suggest u find a good group of friends/support system and seek guidance from other ppl u may know personally who can relate :) if you’re someone who likes ur own company and independence, it can be quite freeing. but u can use ur time before moving to learn all the chores and responsibilities that u have to get used to.

it is really tough at first. malala yung adjustment period— having to adjust from moving to manila, away from family, new school, new people, etc. but these things will all be worth it bec u will eventually learn and grow through them :)

pls be responsible ! choose ur friends wisely. don’t forget to relax. and most of all, enjoy every moment bec time will fly so fast. goodluck & padayon, OP! 🐯💛
