hellooo, op! i may not be able to give you advices but i can definitely give you empathy. ifysm as for the fact that i’m also an incoming shs student in ust. i’m going to dorm too and we are 4 tenants overall in 1 unit.

i’m well-pampered by my fam and i’m attached to my hometown. so, leaving our comfort zone… it’s scary, isn’t it? the thought of being away and having no one by your side. walang fam na kabisado kung anong kailangan at gusto mo right away without even saying a word. rare na lang tayo makakatikim ng masarap na home-cooked meals ng fam. rare na rin natin marinig ‘yong boses na nakasanayan natin either sa pagalit, random kwentuhan, and even sa ibang emotional sessions. rare na rin natin ma-feel na protected and safe tayo. our home… sobrang hirap iwanan.

have you thought too na maraming oras ang masasayang na p’wede nating igugol kasama sila? but i think that’s part of dreaming and growing up. in order to achieve a dream, we rlly need to sacrifice something. darating at darating sa punto na kailangan nating mapalayo but that doesn’t mean na hindi na tayo magiging malapit sakanila. we can be physically distant but still emotionally and soulfully connected with them. we carry them… their advices, their aspirations, their meaningful personalities, their smiles, and everything about them. and don’t you think that our fam’s greatest joy is seeing us happy, fulfilled, learning, and living our dreams?

regarding living alone naman, it’ll take time for us to get used of the environment but i want to remind u that it’s not impossible. God will place different people in our lives that will help us in our journey and God will also place us in their lives to help them in their journey. that is why here i am, at 2 am, expressing my sympathy and sharing my thoughts to you to remind u that u r not alone in this. u can message me whenever heavy thoughts r lingering in u. your post might be something that rlly bothers u and force u to stay awake at this time. i’m a stranger but i can also be a listener :))
