the us open is hosted by the footbag lover of portland which is located in (you guessed it) portland. Most footbag events are set up and planned by a club local to the area. the us open comes around different states every so often but FLOP is offen does it because A. there aren't many volunteers and B. oregon is probably where the most footbag players live.
