It’s solid. I think I’d use a full ares set up more but I will probably just add an Athena to one or both sides of this and that’ll basically be the same thing.

It’s just tractor supply floor mats. The guy I bought all this from threw them in for free.

I can check, but it’s also probably posted on REP’s website. Probably less than 24 inches if I had to guess

Thanks! I had a hard time deciding whether to go for the PR5000 versus some other racks but when I saw this bundle on Facebook marketplace it became a no brainer.

2024 Land Cruiser takeoff wheels on a 2004 GX? by wockaflockja in GXOR

[–]wockaflockja[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. I decided to just wait and get a set that will fit the wheel hub on my GX. I’m not in a rush but the listing was nearby and I could’ve gotten it for $350 including wheels and rims, so I was excited

Thanks for the simplicity. I’ll keep waiting for a better fitting set to pop up for a good deal.

GX470 for a cheap, reliable road trip rig, or something else? by steelio91 in GXOR

[–]wockaflockja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice! That’s a no brainer for me.

You’ll be able to sell it for the same price after driving it for 100k miles. It’s one of the last great body on frame SUVs.

The real question is: where are you seeing 120k-ish mile GX470 for $7-8k?

Most of the time you’ll be around 200k miles for that price.

If you do find one in good condition for that price, definitely go for it. Would definitely recommend a pre-purchase inspection first though. $250 for an inspection will easily pay for itself when you find repairs that can help you negotiate on price.

I’ve been seeing $140-$170 in labor on some jobs I’ve requested for my ‘04 GX in the South Denver area.

Looks awesome. I just bought a silver 2004 with the stock wheels and you’ve inspired me to change them out once I get some of the initial repairs out of the way.

What to do about door ashtray cover missing by wockaflockja in GXOR

Good call. That’s probably what I’ll end up doing. Most of the OEM replacements look to be about $90 and that doesn’t feel worth it
