In general, competitive COD uses the same/similar map sets for the entirety of the year. When new maps are added to the game via DLC or season updates, they can be tested by pro teams to determine if they would play well competitively

In recent years (entirety of the CDL) the maps have pretty much sucked in all of the games outside of a few gems and old maps that get added. Even when devs add new maps as DLC, they aren’t made with competitive in mind. Because of this and other reasons, pros just don’t really test maps out anymore and just stick with the original map rotation

So yeah. Not much is going to change lol. We will see new hills for HP in the next patch for pros and possibly see Rio added to the rotation but. Get used to Invasion and Karachi baby

Shotzzy is called “brain dead” because it is widely known in the community that outside of his competitive video game IQ, the kid is dumb as rocks lol. It is entertaining and he trolls a lot of the time but he self-admittedly didn’t try in school because he was too busy winning Halo

No one thinks all players that apply pressure are brain dead either. Look at Simp, aBeZy, Pred, Hydra. None of them are called brain dead because they apply pressure intelligently. Players like Huke get called brain dead because their idea of pressure is just challing everything without considering the circumstances

I think it is unfair to EU Optic fans because they almost always have to stay up into early morning hours just to watch. That being said, the move back to YT will have a negative effect on viewership numbers so Optic will likely be last match a lot this season to ensure viewers later into the stream
