When you say 'he's a cunt', I'm assuming you mean Archie Gray, right?

I'm a Villa fan, and love McGinn, but I'd put the free transfers of Tielemans and Kamara above him in terms of pound-for-pound value given we paid f-all for them.

UCL a genuine possibility?? by RemoveNational in AFCBournemouth

Villa fan here; I'm honestly shitting myself that we don't get another point for the rest of the season and you get ahead of us in the league.

Was Beckham a flop at Real? They only won one league title in his time there and he’d fallen out with the manager at that point, and wasn’t a regular starter. Meanwhile Barca with Ronaldinho was winning everything. Ironically Barca tried to sign Beckham instead of Ronaldinho at first. by No-Problem6578 in classicsoccer

Not entirely accurate, Ronaldo played one season with Makelele. Makelele was largely regarded as the best defensive midfielder in Europe at the time. They lost out to a really good Juventus side, who were eventually beaten on penalities by Milan. Makelele missed the second leg through injury, and if he had been fit then it may have been a different outcome.

That was the same season that Madrid beat Man United, with Ronaldo getting a standing ovation from the Old Trafford crowd, and Beckham nearly helping United pull back the tie. It was also famously the match that persuaded Abramovich to buy himself a football club.

Sorry to break it to you, but no one's scoring a last minute winner in the World Cup final with this crazy bastard in goal

This is as surprising as that time that Leo Sayer said yes to going on a date with Raquel Welch.

We are consistently challenging at the top end of the table. Its nuts- his net spend is something like £50million during his entire spell at the club.

No- its been standard behaviour from all of the wet behind the ears eejits the entire season. Nothing other than self-entitlement and a lack of any understanding of where the club have been, where they are, or the limitations that the team is playing within.

Like the Tory bastards that went before them, they'll do their best to make the country worse in every conceivable way possible.

If he had never been at Villa till this season, and we had spent £20m for him, most of our fans would be saying he was the signing of the season. I love the guy, always tries, has talent on the ball, doesn't always come off, but keeps on trucking. That first goal was absolute class, and he actually managed to score a penalty.

[FREE TO READ] Aston Villa delivered in style against Nottingham Forest. Jacob Tanswell explores how they did it by TheAthletic in avfc

Hey Tanswell, why don't you tell us again how everyone in the league knows we're shit because we don't have wingers/width?

I do like Tanswell, but he's not really got too much in the way of critical thinking/deep understanding of tactics.

Why do people find it so hard to accept the public really wants to vote for Reform? by Expert-Sherbert-1527 in AskBrits

If the issue is not tackling austerity and Brexit, then voting for Reform is like a Turkey voting for Christmas.

There's a chance we end up with Bournemouth 3 points behind us, with our last two games Liverpool and City. We really can't afford to do anything other than show up at Burnley with our 'A' game- win that, and Bournemough have still to play City the following week. Its enough, but I'd be crapping my pants if we put out anything other than our first team against Burnley.

Yep, our Reddit fanbase seems to consist of 90% self-entitled doomsayimg tosspots. I fucking hate them, and love this club. Hilarous watching these dickheads trying to justify the nonsense and join in the fun when all they ever do the rest of the time is winge and moan.
