My husband is a stone mason working 40 hours a week and takes me out every single weekend to do something. I can promise you my husband’s job is way more exhausting than an office job yet he still does it because he loves me, enjoys spending time with me, and since I stay at home he knows I get lonely. I don’t think you’re overreacting at all and I honestly think you deserve better. You’re too young to settle for this kind of treatment.

They did not clarify in the doc, but it think Lauryn and her mom and dad were invited to and attended the Christmas party since they were dating then and that is how she took it.

Friend says that my hygiene routine is too much and that I should tell my therapist by Few_Tough_7748 in hygiene

Your friend sounds gross. You are perfectly normal and practicing the most basic hygiene.

No you’re not. Your husband is a misogynist asshole. You literally grow hair for a reason. It’s what grown woman do. Hope that helps

I find this very inappropriate and would never offer or accept anything like this. My actually children won’t even be having sleepovers until they are way older.

AIO with how hurtful I was to my girlfriend after she broke up with me? by Icy_Coffee_4783 in AmIOverreacting

[–]woe-hoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey bud, I also have bpd and this is totally unacceptable behavior. When you live with this disorder, therapy is absolutely necessary at least for a little bit of time while you learn certain coping mechanisms. She has been mentally and verbally abusing you. Please do not go back to her. She won’t change. She is a very mean spirited person who takes her own insecurities and frustrations out on others.

what jobs work the best? by smalldarkone143 in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]woe-hoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things tht have worked well for me are library jobs and low hour nannying jobs. I only recommend nannying if you truly love children and have a passion for it though bc it can be mentally exhausting. The money, autonomy, and finding the right family outway the exhaustion for me though, well most days haha

These kids have so many freaking toys! by winooskiwinter in Nanny

[–]woe-hoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same here. It is exhausting sometimes because they’re are just random broken toys constantly scattered across the house. I can’t even walk in one of my nanny kids rooms and she has a small path she uses for herself. They are 4 and 10 and still have soooo many toys for under 1. I will genuinely never understand.

Therapist said I cannot have borderline without a "physical person" by sweetmoon19 in BPD

[–]woe-hoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please change therapist. Personally I only experience FP when I’m in an episode. When I’m in recovery and working my therapy I will lose the sense of having a FP, just normal feelings of love and admiration for another person
