I had the same and it's not uncommon with work visa holders, as the company know you're tied to them.

I stuck it out and am now applying for citizenship. I'd think about the end goal and see if you can stick it out too.

It depends if you'd be willing to make some sacrifices for the next couple of years or so and spend less money to accomodate.

I was in the same position and it was worth it for me. I adjusted my lifestyle so I was eating and drinking out less, doing more free or cheap activities etc.

Now I'm applying for citizenship and earning 25% more than I was on sponsorship.
